21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

We are thankful for the great things which are happening in Southern Missouri. In recent months, we have been receiving reports across the District of a move of God resulting in salvations, Spirit baptisms, and healings. Yet, we believe God wants to do even more.

I truly believe that we are on the threshold of a great season of harvest. I believe that God is going to literally accelerate the harvest. But we must be prepared for this season. A key element of preparation and forward motion is prayer. If we go forward, we go forward on our knees! Each time we have placed a special emphasis on prayer in the past few years, we have seen spiritual results.

With this in mind, we are calling for 21 Days of Prayer beginning Sunday, January 2 and continuing through Saturday, January 22. I know a number of our churches already set aside time for prayer at the beginning of the year, but I sensed that this year we need to unite our prayers across our District.

Would you please call the church or ministry you lead to prayer? Would you join with us in crying out to God for a mighty harvest in 2022? Would you encourage your congregation to not only pray, but to, fast and pray?

Our District Prayer Coordinators, Curtis and Cindy Washam, will be sending out more information including areas of prayer focus throughout the 21 days. YOU will be key in the success of this endeavor as you lead your congregation to intercede for your town, Southern Missouri, our country, and our world.

Thank you for joining with us for 21 Days of Prayer, January 2-22. Let’s believe together that 2022 will begin the greatest season of harvest the church has ever seen. I believe as we call on God, He will hear and answer.

Agreeing together,
Pastor Don
